Linda Baxter was born in Denver. Her family moved ‘back home to Missouri’ in 1965. Prior to obtaining her Life and Health Insurance License in 2003, she served as the Corporate Benefits Manager for John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. for nine years. Also in 2003, her husband James received a job transfer to Harrison, Arkansas. James and Linda relocated to Branson where Linda worked as an independent agent in the supplemental market. Linda began working with Akers & Arney in the fall of 2007 as a contract agent, handling the individual and small group accounts as well as assisting seniors with their Medigap, Advantage and Part D insurance plans.

Linda enjoys helping people, especially senior clients. “Medicare is a complex program and my job is to help seniors make sense of it all,” Linda said. “My senior clients have a better understanding of Medicare, feel more confident in their plan choices, and make better decisions regarding their healthcare.”
