In 1974, Jonas Arjes emigrated from Sweden to Branson, where he graduated from Branson High School in 1987. He attended Missouri State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Management in 1991. A former Branson business owner himself, Jonas joined Akers & Arney as a Corporate Account Executive in 2007.
