A native of southern West Virginia and a 1971 graduate of West Virginia University, Bill moved to Branson with his wife Sharon in 1986. For much of Bill’s career, he worked in the floral industry as a manufacturer’s representative, a trade association executive, and as an importer. Bill joined Akers & Arney in 2004, specializing in risk management, benefits and human resources. Bill says he is blessed to work in the company of friends who he has admired and respected for many years. Bill is very visible in the Branson community serving on numerous boards and committees. His passions are working in his church, and recruiting men to spend an hour a week going to elementary schools to tutor students who need encouragement and a male presence in their lives. Bill’s hobbies are reading, golfing, boating and enjoying time with his wife and friends.
